Volunteers

• If you already signed up for a shift or filled out the volunteer registration form, all you need to do is login to Tribal Cities. If you have a gmail account, click "Sign in with google." If you don't have a gmail account, click "Sign in with email" then forgot password to reset your password and login. You must use the same email you entered on the volunteer registration form. Update your burn name ASAP so we can make sure you're assigned to the correct shifts.
• If you have not filled out the volunteer registration form or signed up for any shifts, click "Create Account" and start from scratch. Once you've created your account and signed in, you can sign up for any available shift that you'd like.
  
  

Leads

• If you can't get to Schedule Management to approve shift sign-ups for your department, post in the "If you're in Tribal Cities" thread under leads and assistants and we will correct your access.
• If you are having issues with Schedule Management - Schedule View, switch to List View. You can only assign a volunteer directly to a shift without their having signed up for it in Schedule View, but that is the only thing you are required to do there. Everything else can be done in List View.​ ​

Everyone

• If the date range you've selected on Schedule View is cutting off the last day of the range, use the calendar and extend the end date out.
• For everything else, use common sense. If something isn't working, don't keep trying it over and over. Try it once or twice, refresh the browser, then try again. After that, STOP! Report the issue in Myschievia Discord Server in the app-chat channel.​

The Following Bug fixes and enhancements are not live in production:

1. Certifications can now be uploaded in the volunteer profile screen, as well as on the My Certs page.
2. Shifts that have benn canceled will now display with the correct status instead of showing as denied.​
3. Approval queue now has pagination.
4. A new filter option to ignore date and show all shifts has been added.
5. A bug causing errors in schedule view has been fixed.
6. Detailed shift coverage percentages are now available on the Reports tab under Schedule Management. All filters can be applied to these statistics.
7. Last filter used will persist if the user leaves the page, refreshes the browser or logs out of the website.

8/21/2025
​The Following bug fixes and enhancements are now live in production:

1. Legal Name and Burn Alias are now labeled correctly in the user profile. For public display, the system will use Burn Alias.
2. Accepted shifts are now grouped together in List View for positions that have multiple shifts at the same time.,
3. Filters have been added to the Schedule View and List View.,
4. Creating a shift in the schedule grid will now auto-populate with date of the time selected.,
5. Filters have been added to the approvals queue and the queue is now sortable by clicking on the column headers.,
6. Clicking on the summary counts in the approvals queue will now show the records that make up those counts.

​The following bug fixes and and enhancements are now live in production:

1. Leads can now assign volunteers to open shifts from List View
2. My Shifts tab now shows the volunteer's assigned, pending, and denied shifts.,
3. Volunteers can now remove themselves from a shift in My Shifts.,
4. Shifts can no longer be created by double clicking in the schedule grid while in Volunteer.
