When is Myschievia?
Myschievia always takes place on Indigenous Peoples' Weekend (formerly known as Columbus Day Weekend) in early October.
In 2024, Myschievia was on October 10th through the 14th. In 2025, Myschievia will be October 9th through the 13th.
How do I get tickets? How much are tickets? Are tickets still available?

Can I buy food/drink there?
The only thing available for purchase at Myschievia is ice (available Fri, Sat and Sun from 1pm until we run out!). There is no selling or buying anything other than ice at Myschievia.
What do I do with my trash?
While you're on walkabout, wear something that has pockets or carry a tin for your personal trash (cigarette butts, gum wrappers, etc). After the event, you take your trash with you and dispose of it yourself off site. There are no dumpsters and no trash burning. Leave no trace!
I don't know what these volunteers roles are. Where can I get more info?

BC = Batcave - the group of volunteers who facilitate needs and support for our department leads
CAMPS = City, Art, Media, Participants, Safety - the acronym for our departments
LLC = Limited Liability Company - the group of volunteers responsible for finance, legal, and safety matters
MEAT = Myschievia Emergency Assistance Team - the volunteers who assist with medical needs
META = Myschievia Effigy and Temple Associates - the team of artists and builders that create the effigy and temple every year
NTXB = North Texas Burners - The name of our organization
