When is Myschievia?
Myschievia always takes place on Indigenous Peoples' Weekend (formerly known as Columbus Day Weekend) in early October.
In 2024, Myschievia will be taken place on October 10th through the 14th
How do I get tickets? How much are tickets? Are tickets still available?
All of this info is on the ticketing page!
This is my first burn. What can I expect? What do I bring? What is prohibited?
Read the survival guide!
Can I buy food/drink there?
The only thing available for purchase at Myschievia is ice (available Fri, Sat and Sun from 1pm until we run out!). There is no selling or buying anything other than ice at Myschievia.
What do I do with my trash?
While you're on walkabout, wear something that has pockets or carry a tin for your personal trash (cigarette butts, gum wrappers, etc). After the event, you take your trash with you and dispose of it yourself off site. There are no dumpsters and no trash burning. Leave no trace!
I don't know what these volunteers roles are. Where can I get more info?
Check out the volunteer page! It has role definitions and links to email the lead for each department.
Should I sign up to volunteer so I can get a ticket if I don't have one yet?
Please don't! If you sign up for a volunteer shift and don't manage to find a ticket, that shift will go uncovered. Please wait until you're sure you have a ticket before signing up for shifts. If you're hoping for a critical volunteer ticket (medical, fire, etc), please reach out to the lead of that department. You can find their name/email on the volunteer page.
