Exciting news coming out of the Myschievia Art CAMPS! Art cars and grants and lasers, OH MY!! You can always get the latest by joining the Myschievia Discord Server and finding the Art-Depart channel.

• The Art Projects Lead, Tiff, is looking for an assistant lead! If you would like to help people get money for their art and help art find a home on the map, please reach out to her! Ideally this would be someone who could learn the process with the goal of taking over in the future, but any help is appreciated. • Art Grant Applications are LIVE! We heard your voices, and have opened the grant process to anyone who is not on the LLC, Batcave, or Art Grant committee, so that means YOU Leads & Ass Leads! We want to see some GREAT art this year! The deadline for getting your application in is August 8th. We have moved everything up a bit this year to hopefully get funds to people a little sooner.

• We are also looking for folks to join the Art Grant Committee. This is a panel of folks who get the inside scoop on the art that's coming to Myschievia and you get to give out free money to make art!! It counts towards your volunteer hours, and is easy work you can do before the burn.

• Art Placement Registration is LIVE! This is a form you need to fill out if you want your art placed on the map at Myschievia. You need to fill this out whether you are applying for an art grant or not.

• DaisyChains the DMV Lead is looking for an Ass Lead! If you would like to help them make sure art cars are good to go on the Piney Playa you can reach out to them in the #⁠dmv channel on discord or by email at [email protected]
• Bunni is our amazing new ⁠sound-marshall lead! If you like yelling at hippies to "TURN IT DOWN" you can reach out to them and they will get you on the schedule as soon as it's released and shove a decibel reader in your hand. Meta just dropped the year’s HOTTEST effigy & temple designs to be featured on the Piney Playa, go check out the blog on the the Myschievia Website or the Meta-Info channel on discord if you missed it. Don’t forget to scan the QR code and sign up to help! This is another great way to get in your volunteer hours before the event. ISO: Procession Lead and a Pyro lead.

Procession: I know we have plenty of flowmies out there, who's good at herding flaming cats? Contact me! If you've never done this before, fear not!! I got you. I'm a semi-professional cat herder and previous procession lead.
Pyro: It was announced at Town Hall that the landowner has asked us not to do pyrotechnics this year. We will likely be changing the name of the department in the future to reflect this status, but for now we are in search of someone with lighting, lasers, projection mapping, or production experience to lead this department.
