Theme, Effigy, & Tickets

If you missed our Summer Town Hall, it was a great success! Lots of snacks and drinks, theme camp info booths, new leadership announcements and -of course- we decided the theme for Myschievia 2022!

From the theme presenter, Minnie: 
~We always talk about “going home”. When people arrive we say things like “welcome home” and I got to thinking about what home really means because it’s different to each and every one of us.

The dictionary defines "Home" as a place of residence, a place in which one’s domestic affections are centered, any place of refuge.  It’s that last one that caught me.  A place of refuge. For so many of us, Myschievia is one of the only places we feel at home. 

At the heart of it, coming home is where you can be most vulnerable because you feel safe and all your senses are fed.  Coming home is about you.  Home is not a structure, it’s a feeling.  Home is the deepest part of ourselves, it’s where we find our heart and souls.~​

Do you have goosebumps? Because I have goosebumps.

What about the Effigy?

What about the effigy, you ask? We're running a bit behind schedule this year (thanks to wavering Covid guidelines) but the LLC is accepting effigy proposals. Get an idea together and send it here as soon as you can! The sooner they accept a proposal, the sooner we can get the META team together and start building.
