Summer Town Hall This Saturday!

The final appearance of Mys 2025 lost and found will be at this town hall. If you think you left something behind, show up and grab it!

Aside from Effigy and Temple presentations and voting, we'll also be voting on a couple of important issues we'd love the community to give their informed input on -

GUIDING PRINCIPALS
Myschievia's eight guiding principals are:

• Stewardship
• Playful Mischief
• Liminality
• Self-Organization

We'll be voting on whether to adopt BMORG's ten principals:

• Radical Inclusion
• Decommodification
• Gifting
• Radical Self-reliance
• Communal Effort
• Radical Self-expression
• Civic Responsibility
• Leaving No Trace
• Participation
• Immediacy

(We would also be adding Consent as our 11th principal.)

BECOMING A BMORG OFFICIAL REGIONAL BURN
We'll also be voting on whether or not we want to become an official Burning Man Regional Burn. Here are some reasons why we're interested:

• Leadership Support
• Discoverability
• Legal support*
• Financial grants*
• Access to resources like safety and operational models and documentation
• Use of trademarked terms and intellectual property

*Potential - not guaranteed.

If we get a positive response from the community, the only conditions we don't currently meet is a sponsorship from an existing regional and the adoption of the BM Ten Principals above. We have a plan to seek out a sponsor after the vote.
