 What a great day and a great turnout! Thank you to all who participated; the people who brought food/drink for the potluck (especially the LLC for their delightful contributions!), the creative and fun theme presenters, everyone who voted, and our new leadership. Special thanks to Showtech for hosting us again! Here's a summary: -The meeting started off with a word from our LLC about the legal and financial state of our community, also etting everyone know that they are still accepting applications for interns! Information about ticket sales, income, and the criteria for being an intern can be found in the LLC's presentation here. -Batcave members were introduced, spoke a bit about their CAMPS, and introduced the leads for this year. We're still looking for a few capable volunteers to lead parking, events and be Quartermaster! If you're interested applying, you can do so here. -Burners Without Borders NTX is hosting a rainbow-themed summer event to benefit the Resource Center! Location and dates are yet to be decided, but they're always in need of volunteers to help out. Check out their Facebook group here. -We all need a little help now and then. Foundation45 is focused on providing cost-free mental and emotional support for anyone suffering from mental illness, depression and/or addiction, as well as those whose lives have been impacted by the loss of a loved one to suicide. For more information, you can view their Facebook page here. -There were five fantastic theme submissions (Disco Inferno, Gay Space Communism, We Are Star Stuff, Paris Wears THESE Sunglasses, and Paris Wears THOSE Sunglasses) but there can only be one theme. This year's winner is...  "The nitrogen in our DNA, the calcium in our teeth, the iron in our blood, the carbon in our apple pies were made in the interiors of collapsing stars.
