Effigy and Temple Submissions Wanted!

Don't forget to submit your Effigy and Temple proposals to present at the Summer Town Hall!

You don't have to know how to put it together - just put together a quick presentation of your idea, talk about it at Summer Town Hall (in-person or virtually), and the META team can work with you if yours gets chosen.

So put together a presentation, email it to Batcave, and show up at Summer Town Hall to present it!

Things to keep in mind for your ideas:
Accessibility: Make sure all burners, even those without the ability to climb a ladder or stairs, can participate in the art.
Feasibility: Try to keep it in reasonable terms as if it can be made structurally sound, built by human hands, and within a decent budget.
Environmental impact: We can't use pressure treated wood or chemical-based paints or dyes.
Size and portability: Effigy must be no larger than 20’x20’x20’ at the time of incineration. The structure must be modular & transportable in 2 26’ box trucks. Temple: must be no larger than 12’x12’x12’ at the time of incineration. The structure must be modular and transportable in 1 15’ box truck and must be able to be relocated from the temple site to the burn scar.
