🌟 Calling All AV and Tech Gurus for the Myschievia Laser Show! 🌟 Hey Myschievia Family! This year, we're bringing an incredible laser-light show to the effigy burn and the Production Team (formerly the Pyro Team) needs some skilled hands to help us create this experience! We’re specifically looking for volunteers with experience in: 🎛️ AV (audiovisual) industry: If you have skills in wiring, connecting systems, and basic electrical work, we’d love to have you on board! Your expertise will be invaluable in setting up and running our laser-light show. 🔧 General technical abilities: Those with experience in setting up AV systems for home theaters, offices, or similar setups—this is your chance to shine! Your skills in connecting, troubleshooting, and managing equipment are exactly what we need. We are first looking for volunteers who can join us for the All Hands Final Work Weekend on Sept 27-29 to help dig cable trenches and bury the cables. This groundwork (ha!) is essential to ensure our show runs smoothly! During Myschievia, we will need help with the following: 🚚 Unloading and setting up AV equipment 🔌 Wiring and connecting systems 🛠️ Testing and troubleshooting to ensure everything runs smoothly 👀 Monitoring the systems during the show and providing crowd control for safety Why Volunteer?
