Howdy Myschievians! This is some handy dandy info from the META & Production teams! Production will have laser towers surrounding the burn circle, all those towers, and the effigy itself are not climbable! Sorry, but stay off or we'll be forced to grab our spray bottles, and shoo you away! The temple structure is perfectly climbable, so you still have a thing to climb on. Thank you for your consideration, and see you on the piney playa!
P.S Also there will be four other laser towers that won't be as climable looking, but equally need to not be touched or messed with. Idk if that's relevant, but all six laser towers cannot be touched. Hell, I don't even want people to bump them because then we will have to re-align the lasers and that's just going to be hella annoying! Come out to the Warehouse on Tuesday October 15th to help us load all the things back in. We need strong hands and moral support!
We’re planning on being at the Warehouse sometime between 3pm - 6pm. The more hands we have helping the faster we can get done. Sign up for a shift to let us know - this will count toward your qualification for a VIP ticket next year https://myschievia.playa.software/event/3 It’s finally here – the map you’ve all been waiting for, and it’s packed with updates! One of the biggest changes is the brand-new Sunshine Trail on the lower loop, designed to make traffic flow smoother. With an expert eye and cutting-edge GIS data, eXo, our Mapping Lead, has fine-tuned the roads and boundaries, making the map reflect the land more accurately.
Since we’re skipping fireworks this year, we’ve shrunk the Perimeter and opened up more space on the Burn Circle for theme camps and art installations - and wow, in total there’s 49 art installations for you to explore! To guide placement, theme camps are marked with green flags and art with yellow. Our illustrious Art Lead, Parrot, even labeled registered art with its name on yellow stakes. You’ll also notice pink for roads, red for fire lanes and the perimeter, and blue shows footpaths to help everyone find their way. Need a hand getting around? The Accommodations & Accessibility Area (AAA) has arranged for eight bus stops to be placed throughout the event to support attendees requiring mobility assistance. Two friendly Taxi Camps are ready to assist, and any additional art cars are welcome to lend a hand if they’re able. There are 38 Portos around the event, including 5 accessible ones at key places like Gate, Crossroads, and near LoveShack. I’m excited to welcome you all to the land and see this year’s vision come to life. It’s hard to believe that this will be our last year at Armadillo Acres. The new additions like Sunshine Trail and extra room around the Burn Circle are set to make this event one to remember. I’ll see you soon, and I can’t wait to experience it all together!
