Art Tickets go on sale 6/20/2024 @ Noon!
Art tickets provide general admission for adults 18 and up and are limited to 2 tickets per transaction. Child and infant tickets will also be available and are limited to 2 per transaction and must include an adult Art ticket purchase for the legal guardian of said minors. Tickets are $165 and proceeds are used to fund Art Grants for Myschievian artists bringing projects to the Piney Playa. Procession: I know we have plenty of flowmies out there, who's good at herding flaming cats? Contact Art! If you've never done this before, fear not!! We got you. We are semi-professional cat herder! Pyro: It was announced at Town Hall that the landowner has asked us not to do pyrotechnics this year. We will likely be changing the name of the department in the future to reflect it's status, but for now, we are in search of someone with lighting, lasers, projection mapping, or production experience to lead this department. If this is you, please reach out to the Batcave Art folks. Quartermaster The Quartermaster is in charge of the NTXB inventory. This team is responsible for loading the equipment in the truck, transporting it from storage in Dallas to the event in Hughes Springs, and unloading the equipment on-site. ALSO!!!!! Just let us know! We had 2 effigy submissions, and one temple submission to vote on at Town Hall. The winners were The Heart of the Camp by Greenbean for the effigy, and The Fire Watch Tower from Sha Tay Tay for Temple. Greenbean has been a lead builder with the META since 2018 and Sha Tay Tay and her team built the temple for 2023. We are thrilled to be working with both again to bring some awesome structures for the community to enjoy this year. The META team and the artists will be working together during the next few weeks to plan these builds and get information out to you!  Hey everyone! We are so excited to see all of you at Town Hall! Just a few friendly reminders about the awesome amenities this location has, like AC and a working bathroom. There are also some basic rules we need to follow: - No Pets (except for Service animals) - No Booze allowed - Please keep it quiet in the hallways since there is another event going on - If you need to vape, please step outside (all time or subjects to change) Just a heads up that the start time is around 2:15. Here's a rundown of what to expect: - Announcements and introductions - Effigy presentations - Effigy vote - Temple presentations - Temple vote After the vote, make sure to touch base with your leads, AF, and any other awesome folks. Hebron Parkway in Carrollton, Texas 75010.
