A Final Note from Volunteer HQ

10/6/2019

FINAL REMINDERS FROM VOLUNTEER HEADQUARTERS
We are in the home stretch everyone! It's almost time to go home! So here are a few housekeeping reminders for ya:
  1. If you are volunteering this year you can pick up your volunteer badge from VHQ. We are located right next to Ranger HQ.
  2. You MUST CHECK IN with us before EVERY SHIFT!! We will have a binder with all shifts detailed out and you will sign in to show you are attending your shift. As long as you sign in with us and work your 8 hours worth of shifts you will be eligible for a volunteer incentive code for next year's event. This code allows you to purchase 2 tickets to next year's event BEFORE general admission sales. DOPE AF. If you do not sign in and attend your shifts you will forfeit your chance for this code. There will be NO EXCEPTIONS and NO EXCUSES! It is your responsibility to sign-in- do not ask your buddy to do it for you, do not put it off with the intention of doing it later. Seriously, just fucking do it!
  3. If VHQ is closed down at nighttime you will check-in for your shift at Ranger HQ. Again, we are located directly next to them so there is no excuse to not check-in for your shift by signing the fucking binder.
  4. You are more than welcome to sign-up for shifts on-site! Shit happens and sometimes people cant make their shift. There are still some holes on the shift sheet. If you want to take more shifts we will gladly take you! And shifts taken on-site will also count towards your volunteer hours for the incentive code. If at any time you have questions about what shifts are open or what you might be a good fit for, just ask one of our friendly helpers at VHQ!
  5. If you are attending on-site training for one of the safety departments, you can find the times on the spreadsheet or you can wander by and ask us on-site. There will be TWO Ranger trainings on-site that you can attend. Remember: you must have your training done BEFORE you are able to work your shift.

Something new and fun this year is that Volunteer Headquarters will have a phone provided by those assholes at FUT! If you are running late for your shift or if we need to hunt you down because you are late, we can call your camp or you can find a phone and call us! (Phone number TBD)

I will be on-site Wednesday so try to ask all questions before I get on the land.
LET'S FUCKING DO THIS!
