City Planning & Art Placement volunteers are three in number: Lead and two or more assistants. They place pre-registered themed camps & art projects around the land for optimal enjoyment of the people running the camps and the rest of the community. They also define Quiet Zone, Sound Town, and Free Camping areas as well as determine the optimal location of infrastructure elements e.g. porta-toliets around the land.

City Planning volunteers for consultation will be available until gate close at 12:00 midnight to help the camps find the correct location where they are placed and help locate optimal areas for un-registered theme camps. Individual campers may also need help locating open camping.

Usually this just involves pointing people in the right direction. But there are times when it is benefical to walk participants to the correct location. Volunteers should be able to communicate coherantly with anyone needing assistance and have a clear idea of the placement map.

Contact our City Planning lead at placement.2009@ntxb.org to sign up as an assistant or to help.
